Accessibility Statement

Side Mission Social CIC wants its website to be accessible and easy to use for everyone. We are working to make sure visitors can find information, understand what we do and contact us without unnecessary barriers.

Our approach

We aim to make our website accessible to as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology or have visual, hearing, motor or cognitive access needs.

We aim to follow recognised accessibility guidance, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), and will continue to review and improve the website as it develops.

What we are working towards

We aim to make sure the website:

  • Uses clear and readable language.
  • Has a consistent layout and navigation.
  • Provides suitable contrast between text and backgrounds.
  • Can be navigated using a keyboard where possible.
  • Uses descriptive headings and link text.
  • Works across a range of devices and screen sizes.
  • Provides alternative text for meaningful images where appropriate.

Known limitations

Some content or features may not yet be fully accessible. This could include older documents, embedded PDFs, third-party services or content that has not been fully tested with assistive technology.

We will continue to review these areas and make improvements where possible.

Need information in another format?

If you have difficulty accessing any part of the website, or need information in a different format, please contact us. We will do our best to help and provide an alternative where possible.
